I think the best coverage was many years ago when I put a motion forward on behalf of the SCP at the Womens TUC. We asked that a motion be passed that women should have a choice of comfortable shoe options in companies where dress guidelines are in place. One of the tabloids mistakenly published that the SCP wanted to ban high heels – fantastic coverage – we hit the front pages!
